# Analyze correlations between questions

## Discover how answers to one question relate to answers to other questions in the survey.

Correlation analysis helps you understand relationships between different answers in an Explore activity.

**How to do it**

1. Open the question you want to analyze in expanded view
2. Click the filter icon
3. Select **Correlation between questions**
4. Select the question you want to compare against
5. Select which answers you want to analyze

 

 

**Example**

For example, you can explore:

- How satisfied employees answer questions about the work environment
- How different groups perceive the same area
- Whether certain answer patterns recur

**When is this useful?**

Correlation analysis is especially valuable when you want to understand the drivers behind the results instead of just seeing answer distributions.
