Participant link or result link?
Vocean offers two types of links depending on whether the recipient should be able to participate or only view the results.
When you create a link in Vocean, there are two types to choose from: a participant link and a result link. The participant link is used to collect answers and ideas, while the result link is used to share summaries with people who shouldn't take part actively.
Participant link
A participant link is used when people should:
- Answer questions
- Contribute ideas
- Take part in votes
- Be active in the process
Result link
A result link is used when people should only be able to view results and summaries.
People using a result link can't take part in the activities and only get access to the results you've chosen to share.
When should I use which?
Use a participant link when you want to collect input.
Use a result link when you want to share results with management, stakeholders, or others who shouldn't take part actively.
Note that you control which results are visible — you choose what is shared when you create the link.
