# Like contributions in Flow

## Use the Like step to let participants highlight the contributions they consider relevant or valuable.

In the **Like** step, participants respond to contributions collected in an earlier step.

For the step to display contributions, you need to select which earlier step should be used as its data source.

### Enter a title and description

Give the step a clear title and explain what participants should consider when liking contributions.

Examples:

- Like the ideas you want to explore further
- Which suggestions could create the greatest value?
- Highlight the contributions you consider most important

### Select a data source

Under **Data source**, select the earlier step that should supply contributions to the Like step.

If the flow does not contain an earlier contribution step, no data source will be available.

### Choose the loading order

You can decide how contributions are presented:

**Random**  
Contributions are displayed in a random order for each participant.

**Ordered**  
All participants review the contributions in the same order.

### Choose participant feedback

After liking a contribution, participants can see:

**Number of likes**  
Shows how many other participants have liked the contribution.

**Share of total**  
Shows the contribution’s share of all likes.

**Tip:**  
Explain what a like represents in your flow. It could indicate relevance, value, feasibility, interest, or something else connected to your purpose.
