# Privacy in Explore activities

## Privacy settings help protect participant anonymity and create a greater sense of security in surveys.

In Explore, you can choose to display the results only after a certain number of responses have been submitted.

This reduces the risk of individual participants’ responses being identified.

### How does it work?

For example, if you set the value to **5**, the results will only be displayed after at least five responses have been registered.

The same rule also applies when analyzing relationships and comparisons between questions.

### When should you use privacy settings?

Privacy settings are particularly useful when you:

- Ask personal questions
- Conduct employee surveys
- Work with smaller groups
- Want participants to feel more comfortable submitting their responses

### Tip

When participants feel confident that their responses are protected, both the response rate and the quality of the responses can improve.
