# How to create an Explore activity in Vocean

## Create an Explore activity to collect feedback, measure attitudes, or conduct a survey.

Creating an Explore activity follows the same basic process as creating other activities in Vocean.

### 1. Create a new activity

Select **+** in a Process or choose **Create activity** from the activity menu.

Then select **Explore**.

### 2. Enter a title and description

Give the activity a clear title and describe the purpose of the survey.

A clear introduction helps participants understand why their responses are important.

### 3. Choose the settings

Decide whether participants should be able to see the results and whether privacy settings should be used.

### 4. Add questions

Create the questions participants should answer and choose a suitable question type for each question.

### 5. Review the activity

Check that the questions are clear and that each question type supports the purpose of the survey.

### 6. Create the activity

When you are satisfied with the setup, select **Create activity**.

### Tip

Test the survey yourself before publishing it to make sure the questions and response options work as intended.
