# How to create a group in Vocean

## Create groups to bring members together and organize participants in a more structured way.

To create a group, open the **Groups** tab and click **Create group**.

### **How to do it**

1. Click **Create group**
2. Enter a name for the group
3. Save the group
4. Add members

### **Name groups clearly**

Use names that make it easy to understand which people the group contains.

**Examples:**

- Product team
- Management team
- Consultants
- Customer service

### **When should a new group be created?**

**Create a group when you:**

- Want to be able to filter results
- Have recurring target groups
- Need to invite the same people several times

**Tip:**  
Try to keep the group structure simple so that users can easily find the right group.
