# Tips for working with analyses

## Generate more useful insights by choosing analyses based on clear questions and combining overall reports with more focused perspectives.

### 1. Start with what you want to understand

Define the analysis need before selecting an analysis type.

Examples:

- Which needs recur?
- Which patterns appear in the contributions?
- Where do perspectives align or differ?
- Which risks require attention?
- What should be prioritized?

### 2. Start broad and then go deeper

An Insight report can provide an overall view of the material.

Then use more focused analyses to examine areas that require closer attention.

### 3. Combine complementary analyses

Example combinations include:

- Insight report and Pattern analysis
- Needs analysis and Prioritization analysis
- Feasibility analysis and Risk analysis
- Common ground and differences with Deviation analysis

### 4. Use AI question for specific needs

If the predefined analysis types do not match your question, use AI question to describe what you want to investigate.

### 5. Review the analysis in context

The AI analysis is based on the collected material. Evaluate the results in relation to:

- The purpose of the activity
- Who participated
- How the questions were formulated
- Which material was collected

### 6. Use the insights in the next stage

When an analysis identifies an important area, use **Suggest flow** to receive suggestions for continued activities.

You can also copy analysis sections for use in documentation or further work.
