Tips for working with Next steps
Move from insight to action by selecting the right material, reviewing AI suggestions, and creating clear continuations of the activity.
1. Start with the most important insights
Identify which analyses or results require continued work.
Not every insight needs to become a new flow.
2. Choose between documents and continued work in Vocean
Download the report when you want to:
- Document the results
- Process the material outside Vocean
- Share the analysis with others
Continue with flow suggestions when you want to:
- Involve participants again
- Explore an identified issue further
- Collect additional contributions
- Rate or prioritize an area
3. Save promising options as drafts
If several suggestions appear relevant, save them as drafts and compare them before continuing.
4. Make sure the flow adds something new
A new flow should move the process forward.
Avoid repeating the same questions unless there is a clear reason to collect additional information.
5. Customize AI suggestions
Review and adjust:
- Title
- Description
- Instructions
- Questions
- Step sequence
- Assessment criteria
6. Create a clear connection to the previous activity
Explain to participants how the new flow builds on earlier contributions and analyses.
7. Document the decision
When needed, download the analysis report or recap so there is a collected record of why the next step was selected.
In short:
A strong next step is based on a clear insight, adds something new, and moves the process closer to action or a decision.
